Some music forms may not be music to some ears. Some may prefer rock over country and others adore pop over rap. But a big band jazz music finds favor with all sorts of music lovers. It gives its listeners unlimited fun and quality music. If you have seen a big band jazz concert you will realize how it feels when a large number of musicians with different instruments play up a rhythm.

A big band ensemble has 12–25 musicians who are divided into two groups — one playing melody and the other providing rhythm. The blend of this two is what makes jazz music a standout from other forms of music. Popular jazz instruments include piano, guitar, drum, saxophone, trumpet, trombones, etc.

If you are interested in getting some practice in jazz and learn on your own, the best way is to download jazz midi files from the web.
